THE SADNESS DAY :-(

I don’t know how to say when I heard that my King-Father passed away but I have clearly known this feeling, it’s too hurt and painful, it’s like the date I knew my grandmother passing away.

I remember; my grandmother passed away when I was in Mondol Kiri Province, my family didn’t allow someone tell me about the death of my grandmother. I was so shocked when I arrived my parents’ homeland, and saw her funeral.

The last word of my grandmother before I left to the province, I still remember and so regretful forever in my life. My whole life, It’s really the wrong decision making of mine. That’s why I always want to be nearby my family when I am far away, I don’t want to go somewhere alone without having them.

“ My dear grand-daughter, please be near me and don’t go to province….go with happily and safety, granddaughter”
My Grandmother said

As like this time, my hero king, he promised to his Cambodian family that he won’t leave, and Cambodia is his last place of his last life but now he already left from us. Why doesn’t he keep his promise? His birthday is coming soon at the end of October; just another 16 days would be his 90th birthday. Why doesn’t he wait for having last fun and happiness with his grandson/daughter, grand-grand son/daughter and the whole Cambodian citizens?

I like him, do love him. There are many stories and speech I have learnt about him. He was the good leader in the country. Therefore, what would Cambodia be like after his presence was gone? Will it impact to politic in Cambodia? Even though, two speeches of him still be in my mind 1). “I have always been dedicated to my homeland. I try to give happiness, some prosperity, and education to my people. I want my country to be independent, always independent. I have to defend my convictions as a patriot and as a national leader. I have done my best, but as a human being I cannot be perfect, nobody is perfect.” 2). “ All Cambodians are my children.” King Norodom Sihanouk said. Thus, I hope these two speech noted will help me to answer to above question.

I have no more word to say, but I want all of us listen to below song together “ GOODBYE CAMBODIA” sang by King Norodom Sihanouk, and after that how do you feel?:

លាហើយកម្ពុជា

លាហើយ កម្ពុជាអើយ សូមលា ដោយអាឡោះអាល័យ
